The Crew
The stories behind the three inspirational young women taking on The Atlantic Ocean.
With an average age of 24, our crew is attempting to set a new world record to become the youngest female trio to row across The Atlantic Ocean.
Olivia Stocks
Growing up on a small holding in the Yorkshire countryside, I have always loved being outdoors. Rowing has played a huge role in my university life, offering me the time and space to spend time outdoors while living in London.
Taking on this challenge means a lot more than just the physical and mental limits I will have to push, it is a way for me to honor a special childhood friend, Luke Stevens. Like me, Luke loved sports, and I hope that by completing this row, I can remember him in a way that he would find awesome and crazy in equal measure. I am excited to raise money for local community charities, and I hope that along the way, we can inspire those in our local communities.
Meg Neely
Meg grew up in Swindon, Wiltshire, and loved sports. She tried everything from cricket and netball to ice skating and rock climbing. However, after undergoing spinal surgery for scoliosis in 2016, she struggled to find her way back into sports.
That changed in 2021 when she discovered rowing. She was hooked from her first (admittedly rather dodgy) stroke - the sport reignited her passion for movement. As an adult, opportunities to try something completely new can be rare, but learning to row from scratch was a powerful reminder that growth comes from embracing discomfort and trusting yourself to adapt.
Jenna Vincent
Jenna is a passionate sailor from Poole, Dorset. Having grown up sailing and racing at a national and international level, I have developed a deep appreciation for the sea, spending most evenings and weekends on the water. I love the outdoors, travelling, and exploring new places, which fuels my excitement for this adventure.
Although I have never rowed before, I am eager to embrace this new challenge and push my limits (I will also find out how good Liv and Meg are as coaches!).
I am incredibly excited about raising funds and awareness for Forest Holme Hospice, a cause close to my heart, as I previously cycled the length of the UK to support their essential work. I am so excited about this challenge and the opportunity to impact all of our charities positively.
